ripplenotions is a private tool made by Josh for himself and Ryan. By using it you agree to what is below. It is short because the situation is simple.
Josh and Ryan, using their own accounts. Accounts are not shared and not transferable. Access can be turned off at any time, by either of them, for any reason.
Nothing. It runs on free hosting plans, which is not a detail you can ignore: those plans have daily limits, and hitting one takes the whole app offline until the limit resets. That has happened. It is expected to happen again.
This is provided as is, with no warranty of any kind. It may be down, it may be slow, it may lose something you typed, and it may be changed or switched off without notice. Do not rely on it for anything where being wrong or being offline would cause real harm, and keep your own copy of anything that matters. Nobody is liable for any loss arising from using it.
That said, losing what someone typed is treated as a defect and not as a normal outcome: the app keeps a local copy of text as you type so that a crash, a closed laptop or a failed save does not take it. Report anything that goes missing, through the feedback button in the app.
What you write stays yours. You are giving permission for it to be stored, shown to the other user, and kept in the app's permanent edit history, which is described on the privacy page. Read that page: it is the important one.
Do not try to break into the app, overload it, or use it to store anything illegal. Do not put other people's private information in it.
Connecting Google Calendar or cal.com is optional and can be undone at any time. Their own terms apply to their services, and this app cannot change what they do.
These terms can change, and the date at the top will say when they did. Questions: joshliu1718@gmail.com.
