ripplenotions

A private task board and schedule for two people

ripplenotions is a small web app that Josh built for himself and Ryan, who are 17 and run a business together. It is one shared place for the things they have to do and when they are going to do them, instead of that living across a group chat, a notes app and two separate calendars.

What it does

Why it asks for Google Calendar

Connecting Google Calendar is optional, and the app works fully without it. When it is connected it does one thing:

It is read only. It never creates, edits, moves or deletes anything on any of your calendars. It checks your own RSVP to hide events you declined and does not retain other invitees' details. You can disconnect at any time from inside the app or from your Google account settings.

Who can use it

Josh and Ryan. It is not open for sign ups, there is nothing to buy, and there are no adverts. The sign in page is the front door for a reason: everything behind it is their real work.
